Epilex is an epilepsy management application that provides tools to help users and their caregivers track health-related information. The Service includes, but is not limited to:
The Service is for informational and tracking purposes only. It does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified health provider with any questions regarding a medical condition. Do not disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you have read or recorded in the App. In case of a medical emergency, contact emergency services immediately.
You must provide accurate and complete information when registering. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You must notify us promptly of any unauthorised use. We may use email and one-time passwords (OTPs) for verification and password reset; you are responsible for keeping your email secure.
You may create, update, and delete your journal entries, appointments, and caregiver information. Data is stored and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you grant us the rights necessary to operate the Service (e.g., storing, processing, and displaying your data to you and, where applicable, to your designated caregivers as per the functionality you use).
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:
The Service, including its design, features, content (excluding user-generated content), and branding, is owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the Service or its content without our prior written consent.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim all warranties, express or implied. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, health outcomes, or profits arising from your use or inability to use the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or, if you have paid nothing, zero. Because the Service involves health-related data, you acknowledge that we are not responsible for any medical or health decisions you or your caregivers make based on the Service.
You may terminate your account at any time through the account deletion feature (and, where applicable, by selecting a reason from the options we provide). We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases; we may retain or delete your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
We may modify the Service or these Terms at any time. We will indicate the "Last Updated" date at the top of these Terms. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. For material changes, we may provide additional notice (e.g., via the App or email) where appropriate. We may also require you to update the App to continue using the Service.
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce any right does not waive that right. These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which we operate, without regard to conflict of law principles.
